Learning from home

We're keeping students learning both in and out of the classroom.

Explore the department's Learning remotely resources to support both online and offline learning for all students.

Learning remotely without technology

We understand some students do not have access to a device or internet for online learning. Contact the school to discuss non-digital learning from home options for your child.

NWPS - Comment from Mrs Sharpe

Teachers from our school are working at home to gather, arrange and send lessons to students in their classes.
As from Friday March 20  they have been unable to acquire resources from their classrooms. Havng said that, they are doing amazingly well working collaboratively to organise  classwork  for their students.

Thank you to parents and students who have been very supportive. Many of you, I know, are helping each other and sharing some wonderful ideas for keeping up with your  chidren's schoolwork and staying happy.

It is such a difficut time for all of us.

Hope you are all well.

Kind regards from Irene Sharpe

Taronga TV

For the first time in Taronga’s 103-year-history, Taronga Zoo Sydney and Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo has gone virtual, launching Taronga TV this week.

Parents and children can tune in daily for a packed schedule of fascinating keepers talks and shows, 24/7 live animal streams, amusing animal antics and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at what the animals (and the keepers) actually get up to when the zoo is closed.

There will also be resources available for teachers and for parents who are home schooling and looking for fun and educational content for their children.
