Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

At Normanhurst West Public School we instil the five values of Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, Active Learners and Aim High. We foster diversity in a supportive environment that embraces inclusion and a sustained sense of belonging for all students, staff and parents.

Our dedicated staff are passionate about creating an inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environment. We focus on student growth and wellbeing, using explicit teaching, meaningful learning experiences and student voice to guide our work. Whether students need extra support or extension through our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) strategies, we tailor our approach to help each student succeed.

Our focus on wellbeing helps our students build resilience and confidence, enabling them to engage fully with their learning and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

I invite you to explore our website and discover what makes Normanhurst West Public School such a special place to learn and grow. I look forward to welcoming you into our school community.
